Bjertnæs returns to his hometown to exhibit his first large solo show.

Notes (provided by Kunsthall Trondheim): The exhibition will be accompanied by the book Avstand (Norwegian-language) where psychiatrist Finn Skårderud, cohabitation therapist and author Sissel Gran, musician Thomas Dybdahl, poet Sumaya Jirde Ali and author Carl Frode Tiller contribute with philosophical and poetic reflections on the concept of distance. The book is published by Kunsthall Trondheim and launched in June 2021 at Forlaget Uten Tittel. The book will be available for sale in Kunsthall Trondheim's store and online.
