Kosmorama 2023 — Trondheim's international film festival — is in full swing and The List is of course there! We spoke with a few attendees about their experience and what they're most excited for before the final weekend of the festival.

What are you looking forward to seeing this week at Kosmorama?
I am interested in watching the handful of films from Iranian directors, especially No Bears from director Jafar Panahi.
Who is your favourite film director?
My favourite director is Jafar Panahi. His dedication and sacrifice for his art is truly inspirational.
What is your favourite film?
My favourite film is Hit the Road directed by Panah Panahi, Jafar Panahi’s son.

I am most looking forward to seeing The Boy from Heaven and How to Blow Up a Pipeline.

My favourite director is the Danish director Thomas Vinterberg.
What is your favourite film?
My favourite film is Ratatouille! It is something silly that I can watch with my kids. I also love The Celebration by Thomas Vinterberg.

I am interested in seeing Pearl by director Ty West - this movie made me want to come to Kosmorama.
Who is your favourite film director?
I think my favourite director is Steven Spielberg. I like the classic directors.
What is your favourite film?
If you asked me several years ago, I would have said I love the Marvel movies. But, my interest in real cinema has been growing. My favourite movie is currently Whiplash.
